Subject: epoxy for concrete
Date: Wed, 27 Oct 1999

Do you have a product that we can use to re constitute old alkili concrete in basements?

Our CPES (Clear Penetrating Epoxy Sealer) is often used on concrete to solidify and reconstitute. This is a very thin epoxy/solvent mix that when brushed or sprayed on concrete penetrates deeply into the mix, hardens, and sticks things back together. Several coatings can be applied if necessary. It is a permenant repair.

CPES is a Class II Hazardous Material and if used in large amounts in an enclosed environment requires the use of a mask capable of filtering organic fumes. There should also be no open flames in the vicinity. Cross ventilation with a fan is very helpful. It is MUCH better to have the fan push fresh air into the room rather than have the fan sucking the fumes towards it's electric motor. If the they are strong enough, the electric motor of the fan could ignite the fumes.

Let us know if we can be of further help.
