Can CPES be applied over a previously treated deck that had Thompsons waterproofing applied?

Yes, if the Thompsons has not been applied recently. Thompsons is a wax emulsion and eventually the wax oxidizes away, which is why it has to be applied fairly often. Wait at least 6 months after the application of Thompsons before applying CPES. Or until water no longer beads up on the wood.
