Subject: Log home reconstruction (estimation of product needed) Date: Mon, September 10, 2012

I am preparing to reassemble an 1880's pine log 24 by 30 foot log home. Some logs are in pretty rough shape.
Would you please send me information on your products and how much I can expect them to do.

Thank you,
Mike

Mike,

We will send you a literature pack, with log home information. Typically, the CPES will saturate at about 10% to 50% of the volume of the deteriorated wood. The amount needed for our Layup & Laminating Resin and Fill-It Epoxy Filler is somewhat easier to figure, as it is just a volume calculation. A gallon of Fill-It fills a gallon sized hole. If you would like help estimating how much your logs might need we would be happy to help. It is useful to have some measurements and estimates of volume.
